Not even iTunes could keep this whimsical single by Three of Swords from my lightening speed enthusiasm.  This divinely created music for the seer is now a top single in my playlist. Why? Because it’s music inspired by the tarot and lead vocalist, Damon Mahoney is a 21st century troubadour for divination.

The traditional interpretation of the tower in many tarot decks highlights the sudden destruction brought by a bolt of change. And with all change, faith is tested. This song could not have come at a better time as I fight for my own faith in this rustic coal mining town due for a few tower moments of its own. Synchronicity at its finest!

I love the surreal undertones woven throughout this alternative late-night love song, and if you listen to Radiohead or Loreena McKennitt then you will surely crave for more Three of Swords, like I do.

Damon Mahoney’s darkly sweet vision dances along a restless melody, creating a warm and dangerous tension. Fall for it. – review on iTunes

Connect deeper with the symbolism of tarot through the enchanting folklore of Mahoney’s soul. Purchase The Tower by Three of Swords on iTunes for only $0.99
