Bernard Eats: Milkshakes, smoothies, and cappuccinos
Is change really a bad thing? Well, for the current students at Point Park University, change just got colder and faster. Now, customers at Point Park’s on-campus Cafe will satisfy their brain freeze cravings by making their own milkshake, smoothie, or frozen cappuccino with the new f’real blending bar.
Simply, choose a flavor. Rip the lid. Press a thickness.
The f’real blending bar has a screen monitor making the wait entertaining while you witness a cow taking a joy-ride on a roller coaster. If you are like me, I actually just stare at the assortment of flavors that await for me next time.
- Cookies ‘n Cream
- Mint Chip
- Peanut Butter Cup
- Caramel Chocolate Crunch (Limited time only)
- Strawberry Banana Smoothie
- Mango Smoothie
- Blueberry Raspberry Pomegranate Smoothie
- Coffee Frozen Cappuccino
- Mocha Frozen Cappuccino
I got a chance to interview Shannon Mckenzie, a student at Point Park and Jessica Yanavitch, a student cafe worker on what they think about the new treat machine.
Just talking to other students in general about the new addition, their main concern is the amount of calories each cup contains. There are nutritional facts online, but do calories really matter when it comes to indulging on some very tasty foods?
